Both sets of profiles agree well with previous radial sSFR and (continuum) A V measurements. sSFR gradients are nearly flat without central quenching signatures, except for M ⋆ > 10 10.5 M ⊙, where central declines of 20–25 per cent are observed. With our calibration, the resulting A V profiles fall much more slowly than stellar mass profiles over the measured radial range. Colour gradient directions are nearly parallel to the Calzetti extinction vector, indicating that dust plays a more important role than stellar population variations. The resulting colour gradients, covering a radial range of 0.2–2.0 effective radii, increase strongly with galaxy mass and with global A V. Below is the inspiration statement that I wrote for Nightshade over 10 years ago: I thought about what a “Halloween” collection would look like to me. Since it was originally marketed as a holiday collection and had a targeted release window it has become one of the most difficult to find collections in my catalogue. The new version brings with it 10+ years of my own growth and color explorations hopefully giving you something that is even better than the earlier versions! Nightshade was originally released in 2011-2012 as a Halloween collection to much confusion, due to the lack of pumpkins and candy corn, and it has become a cult favorite over the years. By issuing the collection in a new color it maintains the value of the original print run by creating a clear distinction between the new re-issue and the original printing. I create a brand-new color variation of the original artwork and re-release that variation for new fans and old ones. The Deja Vu category is my way of giving people a new shot at an old collection that they might have missed. Nightshade is the newest installment in my annually released “Deja Vu” collection.
